Whenever I hear the word "alps," I think of Julie Andrews twirling around at the top of a mountain in The Sound of Music or the movie, Heidi. Wrong alps when it comes to the France Guide. This helpful French government site is running a contest to win a trip to the French Alps, specifically Courchevel, during ski season. Included are 2 nights at the luxuriously charming hotel, Les Airelles, which is located on the edge of the slopes. Never heard of Courchevel? This royal celeb haven has hosted Prince William, Armani, Clooney, Elton John, and Salma Hayek's baby daddy, Bernard Arnault.
