Most of the contests I enter require nothing more than filling in the blanks, but this one is different. For over a decade, I worked the Pledge Drives at the local, public radio station, KCRW. One of my colleagues was a woman named Fortune (Seriously!), who started volunteering there after she won a fantastic trip for subscribing to KCRW. Every day, during the drives, someone wins something. I know because I used to call our 100,000th subscriber to inform them they just won 10 CDS. Part of the reason so many people win is that the odds are good. The fewer number of entries, the better chance you have of taking home a prize.
