Paris When It Sizzles Gossip Girl Style

Spotted last night: Gossip Girl's Serena van der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf gabbing at Bieres A La Pression, which translates as "draft beers." Meanwhile, Chuck Bass is discovered, holed up on Rue Théophile Roussel and working as a waiter! Conniving Blair plans a day of polite interaction with the proletariat to impress her Grimaldi. Alas, Blair can only endure plebian life for a limited period of time - even for her prince. The next thing you know Blair is trying on jewels at Harry Winston. Ah, Paris when it sizzles. Too bad it's fizzling back to New York. You know you love it, anyway! Bisou, bisou.

Bonjour Gossip Girl

Spotted: Serena van der Woodsen commandeering the boho Left Bank, while Blair Waldorf rules the Right Bank on last night's season premiere of Gossip Girl. With brush in hand and a sexy male model languishing on the bed, Serena paints when she isn't hanging out at the arty Cafe de Flore. Meanwhile, Blair stares at Manet paintings and reads Colette in the park. Bien sûr, these belles de jours - which is the episode's title - hit the department stores on Boulevard Haussmann and stay awhile at Tally Weijl. Romance and drama swirl at Baccarat, a trendy gourmet restaurant in the heart of Paris. But, ooh la la, things aren't always what they seem.

Color me happy with all the lush images of Rue du Faubourg St. Honoré, Notre Dame, and the Eiffel Tower. If only les jeunes filles lived here all the time! Gossip Girl Here: Tangoing In Paris

Teen drama, Gossip Girl, has been delivering a glimpse of exclusive Manhattan locales for three seasons. Come July, the hit CW show is kicking off the fourth season by shooting the first two episodes in Paris! After all, that's where Serena and Blair are spending the summer. While Ladurée is my go-to macaroon mecca, Pierre Hermé is Blair's. Don't be surprised if they film there!

Gossip Girl ended with a bang when Chuck Bass was shot and presumably killed, but even more drama was happening off screen. Tabloids report that Ed Westwick's real life break-up with his on screen co-star, Jessica Szohr, was so devastating that Westwick wanted off the show, hence the bloody ending. Since then, however, Ed and Jessica have kissed and made-up. Surprise, surprise. And, now Ed's character is headed to Paris. Will this be Blair and Ed's last tango? You know you love it.
