When night falls, Paris Hilton and Kate Hudson hit VIP Room. New American Idol judge, Jennifer Lopez, has been seen at Les Bain Douches, and Dita Von Teese has teased the crowd at Crazy Horse. Bedtime? Both John Travolta and Sharon Stone have stayed at the InterContinental Paris Le-Grand hotel.

The Front Row Girls At Viktor & Rolf, and Jean Paul Gaultier

Fashion shows bring people out of obscurity. Former Spice Girl, Geri Halliwell, decked out in a black and white romper, turned up in the front row next to DJ Leigh Lezark (and one-time Gossip Girl dayplayer) at the Viktor & Rolf show at Espace Ephemere Tuileries today. Checking out the competition was designer Margherita Missoni, whose carrying on the family business. Catherine Deneuve and another belle de jour, Dita von Teese, set the tone at Jean Paul Gaultier's astonishing Ready to Wear show. While many designers have been crucified for sending anorexics down the runway, Gaultier opted for more to love when goth cherub, Beth Ditto, saluted the audience in black shorts that fell way above her knees.

Alas, Blair can only endure plebian life for a limited period of time - even for her prince. The next thing you know Blair is trying on jewels at Harry Winston. Ah, Paris when it sizzles. Too bad it's fizzling back to New York. You know you love it, anyway! Bisou, bisou.

Spotted: Serena van der Woodsen commandeering the boho Left Bank, while Blair Waldorf rules the Right Bank on last night's season premiere of Gossip Girl. With brush in hand and a sexy male model languishing on the bed, Serena paints when she isn't hanging out at the arty Cafe de Flore. Meanwhile, Blair stares at Manet paintings and reads Colette in the park. Bien sûr, these belles de jours - which is the episode's title - hit the department stores on Boulevard Haussmann and stay awhile at Tally Weijl. Romance and drama swirl at Baccarat, a trendy gourmet restaurant in the heart of Paris. But, ooh la la, things aren't always what they seem.
