France's Florence Foresti Hits Hollywoo

Florence Foresti may be the Tina Fey of France, but in Hollywood, and her new film, which she is currently shooting here, Hollywoo (No, that isn't a typo!), she's just another tourist. Early this morning, Florence's character, Jeanne, strolled down Hollywood Boulevard near Vine Street, where she tried to buy one of the ubiquitous Star Maps sold around town which indicate where celebrities live. Since this is a comedy of misunderstandings, of course, nothing ever goes the way it should for poor Jeanne. Directing this hilarious misadventure is Frédéric Berthe, who is known for shooting episodes of Sur Le Fil and Préjudices as well as the film, Nos 18 Ans.

Unlike Jeanne, I'd rather be a tourist in France. Luckily, The Travel Channel is giving away a trip for two to Paris, courtesy of the new NBC show, Undercovers. The winner receives two roundtrip tickets to Paris, 4 nights at the deluxe L'Hotel, a 5-day Paris Metro Pass for 2, A Paris City Tour by minivan, and a walking tour of Montmartre. There's also a Museum Pass for four consecutive days featuring no admission charges, no waiting in lines and no limit to the number of times you can visit more than seventy museums and monuments in the City of Light, including the Musee des Eqouts de Paris (the Paris Sewers) which was featured on Travel Channel's No Reservations. Dinner reservations and a $200 gift card for Chez Denise are included. Ooh la la! That's entertainment. Put down your camera and enter.

The Golden Ticket

My favorite awards show, The Golden Globes, airs tonight on NBC. Since champagne flows beforehand, the speeches tend to be more, um, lively. Who can forget: Mary-Louise Parker's shout out to her new baby for making her boobs look better? Waiting for Christine Lahti to emerge from the bathroom? Sacha Baron Cohen's tale of seeing the ugly side of America while filming Borat, specifically the nether regions of his co-star, Ken Davitian. Tina Fey's reminder, "If you ever start to feel too good about yourself, they have this thing called the internet." And even though he had that not so Divine incident, Hugh Grant consistently delivers some of the funniest speeches I've seen. Let's hope there are more memorable laughs this evening!

In honor of the main event, Radar Online is giving away a $5,000 swag bag packed with goodies the stars receive - a $1,500 Croton watch, membership to the House of Blues Foundation Room, Live Nation concert tickets, and a host of other treats. No, it doesn't have anything to do with Paris, but when you're traveling, you can wear that belt, underwear, perfume, and other items you win. Don't bag it, enter!
