Bobbing Around With Kiera Knightley in Paris

Keira Knightley lopped off her locks and debuted her new bob at the Chanel show in Paris in October. Rumors have been swirling for the past two years that Keira will play Zelda Fitzgerald in the remake of The Beautiful and the Damned, which is based on the novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Is she jazzing up her hair for this flapper era role? Or, will she play Daisy Buchanan in another Fitzgerald classic, The Great Gatsby, which is currently being cast.

Keira is beautiful, but beauty has it's price. She could be damned. (Her character certainly was in the eerie film, Never Let Me Go.) While Keira was promoting her latest movie, Last Night, in Rome, her Bayswater flat in London was robbed. Kiera was reportedly "mortified" and felt "violated" (Who wouldn't?) when she learned her apartment had been ransacked around October 26th. While robbers appeared to overlook her jewelry, two of her personal laptops were stolen. She's currently seeing Rupert Friend, so any damning photographs of them could be a goldmine for thieves.

Want to enjoy Paris like Keira Knightley and the Fitzgeralds? Hudson jeans and Bloomingdale's have teamed up to give one winner a $10,000 windfall in their Bank on Hudson Sweepstakes. That ought to cover a new laptop and a luxurious trip to the City of Light. Bank on it and enter.

Royally Awesome

Europe has royalty, America has manufactured celebrities. How else can one explain the Kardashians? Sextime - I mean, Showtime - has managed to make history more exciting than anything I remember studying in high school with it's provocative TV series, The Tudors. To ring in the fourth and final season premiere this Sunday, April 11th, Showtime is giving away a regal tour of Tudor London. The grand prize includes round trip air travel for 2 courtesy of Delta Airlines, a custom Tudor tour, and a $5,000 Macy's gift card. Plus, you'll stay at the Kensington Hotel in the aristocratic neighborhood of Kensington, which is steps from Kensington Palace. No, it's not France, but it's close. With your $5,000 Macy's gift card you can do some fancy financial footwork and use this year's clothing budget for a side trip to Paris. Enter the 21st century and take the Chunnel across the pond when you've had enough tutoring about the Tudors. Be noble and enter.

Meet You On The Other Side

Music and travel rock my world. Surprisingly, my favorite song at the moment, Just Breathe, comes from Pearl Jam. Every time I hear this stunning melody, I know it's going to be a good day. Would you believe Pearl Jam is headlining the Hard Rock Calling Concert in Hyde Park this June, and Hard Rock's Ambassadors of Rock Sweepstakes is sending winners to see them? The Grand Prize consists of four trips for two to attend four Hard Rock Ambassadors of Rock® concerts, including this one in London. Round-trip air transportation for two to London, three nights first-class hotel accommodations, a Red Double Decker Bus Tour of London, admission for two to the London Hard Rock Cafe party plus the concert, a Hard Rock Cafe gift card worth $100, and $300.00 cash for expenses, means you'll be rocking in style in England. Okay, it's not Paris, but it's close. Dubai, Singapore, and Mumbai are a few of the possible locations for the other three luxe trips, so renew your passport. Just breathe and enter.

Watching The Detective

It's elementary my dear Watson, London is only a chunnel away from Paris. Visit Britain is running a contest to unlock the mysteries of London in conjunction with Robert Downey Junior's film, Sherlock Holmes. If you've done your detective work, you probably discovered the prize includes 2 airplane tickets to London, 4 nights at a Radisson Edwardian hotel, a walking tour of Sherlock Holmes' London, dinner for two at the Sherlock Holmes Pub, and 2 tickets to the Sherlock Holmes Museum. Bone up before you go by watching The Hound of the Baskervilles, Young Sherlock Holmes, Private Life of Sherlock Holmes, Return of Sherlock Holmes, Murder By Decree, and Without a Clue. There's no mystery when it comes to entering.
